1980 Montesa 349 trials bike. This bike is in very good condition and is unmolested and original to the best of my knowledge. I purchased this bike many years ago because it was in such incredible shape and condition. This bike some some of my remaining vintage bikes are being sold as I am moving across country and the new home has a one car garage. This Montesa runs strong and needs little to no restoration. If you decide to replace the small stripes than run along the bottom of the tank that would be aboub it. This bike was a garage queen here for me and was ridden very little on my property. It starts easy and runs and shifts like new. It can climb a tree power and torque wise. The bike is a very nice bike for someone that does not want to chase parts and try to restore a basket case. I do also have the headlight assembly for the bike as it now has the factory Montesa trials number plate in place. The bike still has the stickers on the wheels and original paint. The motor and external parts have not been painted or touched up. I took the pictures in the garage as it sat and did not use polish or shine enhancers before taking the photos. You see it as it sits in my garage without any cleanup. The handlebars were swapped out I believe at some point but I am not sure of that. I have a free and clear title to the bike which is very rare on this type of off road bike. Not much more to say as the pictures tell the story. I will deliver the bike to Portland Forward Air for shipping for a $75 fee. I will deliver and load into the container securing it in place with tie downs and locks you provide. All shipping arrangements will be done by the buyer to include payment.This bike is for sale locally and could end the auction upon sale. Thanks for pointing that out! I also have been asked a few times if the bike has been repainted and the answer is NO it has not. The paint is original on all painted surfaces. The tank has small imperfections that dont show well in the pictures. The area of the tank that holds fuel has small spots as it is plastic and that is only in that area. The bike is original and although it is in very good shape it is not brand new showroom condition as would be expected. Just want to make sure I was clear on the original part. I do have the headlight for the bike as mentioned. I do NOT have a tail light. Regarding the shipping portion. I will deliver to Forward Air for a $75 fee as explained you provide the tie downs and locks if you want to use that option. I can also purchase those items for you at the BUYERS expense if that helps. This is a delivery fee to the shipper NOT a fee for shipping total.
