I am selling my 1986 Jeep Cherokee. It has the 2.8L V-6 motor, rebuilt 3spd auto trans with the Selec-Trac 4x4. It has 93,800 ORIGINAL MILES !!!. It needs very little TLC and is a string runner. Equipped with Dana 30/35 axles with 4:10/1 gearing for great off road traction and control. Interior is in really good condition ( needs new headliner approx $125, simple cleaning with only one cig burn in drivers seat, no other rips or tears!!) I had the trans rebuilt 500 miles ago and it has a TPC shift kit installed with new torque converter. Shift kit increases the towing capacity and less stress on the engine. My daughter was driving it as a daily driver, but she's now off to college in Arizona. Wife says to sell the toys ! So I've now listed it online at auction with a low reserve. Buyer is responsible for any and all shipping charges. There are no warranties expressed or implied. This is a 26yr old vehicle that has been in the same family since it was purchased new !! The title has the mileage listed as 22 miles !!! This is NOT a highway Jeep, due to the 4:10 gear ratio. That's why the low miles, it's been mostly local driving.
