The Mustang has been owned by the same owner (recently deceased) for the last 34 years and this is the first time it has come to market, amazing. It is an all matching numbers original K Code 289 HI-PO 4 BBl Factory 4 Speed that has been in California all its life and comes with Original California Pink Slip. Gets better, the Mustang has the Correct numbers matching Engine Block and Transmission 289 HI-PO engine which is the special engine which Carroll Shelby designed the GT350 around. In the three years of production less than 1% of the 1,700,000 Mustangs produced came with them. The Mustang is beautifully finished in its Original and correct "Sunlight Yellow" color with a fresh repaint on a rust free unhit California body. Body fit is fantastic and appears all original and panels are deadly straight. The doors close and windows work like when it was new. Interior is extremely presentable with much of it original. Very nice exterior brightwork, emblems and chrome. The chassis and engine bay is highly detailed. When it was unveiled the orders were pouring in. The first few K codes were thought to all have gone to racing teams and were all destroyed or dissected over the years. At $442.60 (not counting the mandatory four-speed transmission you had to get on a K code engine) it was the single most expensive Mustang option. The famous 271 hp 289 V-8. This motor gave the Mustang a little extra spunk. it made the Mustang a joy to drive.
