Vehicle Detail

I am selling my 1975 Jeep CJ5. I am the third owner of the vehicle as far as I know. I bought it in running condition, and tore it apart to build it back up correctly. To start off with some of the things done to this CJ5, it has a AMC 304 v8 motor in good working condition. It has a new cap and rotor, plugs and wires. There is an edelbrock raw aluminum radiator on top of the 304, as well as a 600 cfm 4 barrel holley carburator which was rebuilt recently. There is a new radiator up front as well as a new radiator fan and fan clutch which were recently added to the CJ5. It has a brake booster as well, which makes this thing stop on a dime. Dana 30 front axle with new u-joints installed. New Mile Marker manual locking hubs in the front. New extended brake lines in the front and rear. New brake lines all around the vehicle. New brake components in the front. All electrical items on the vehicle work including head lights, led turn signals and tail lights, and working windshield wipers. There are currently 5 brand new electric autometer gauges installed in the dash (Coolant temp, fuel level, voltage, oil pressure, and tachometer. The Jeep has a Dana 44 rear axle with drum brakes. The transmission is a manual 3 speed in great condition. I recently added a twin stick conversion on top of the Dana 18 transfercase to allow independent operation of 4 hi and 4 lo in the front and rear axles. All the fluids in the Jeep have been changed in the past month including radiator fluid, brake fluid, engine oil, transmission fluid, transfercase fluid, and both differentials. This Jeep has an aftermarket tailgate in great condition, that says willys on it. Everything on the Jeep is in working order. The current tires are 31x10.5 with original white wagon wheels. The roll bar that is installed in the Jeep is from a 1979 Jeep CJ5, which offers more protection than the bar they made for 1975 Jeeps. The Jeep has a Spring over Axle lift done correctly. Perchs are welded to the axle tubes, and drive line angles are all in spec. Overall, this Jeep is in great condition and it has alot of popular features that not all CJ's came with including the Dana 44 rear end, power front disc brakes, rear tailgate, all original steel tub. The breather hoses for the front and rear differential have been vented up higher than stock location, meaning you can go through more mud and water without worrying about getting debris inside the diff. Another cool option that will be included with this Jeep is an OEM AMC White canvas soft top, with full soft doors. The top was originally sold in early 1970's and sat in storage for 40 years until I recently bought it. The top has no wear, no tears, and is brand new never been used or installed. The color combination I was intending to use for this Jeep was Camoflauge brown and white. As it sits, the Jeep will turn on and run/rev no problem. This Jeep will need front fenders and seats because the original seats and fenders were thrown away due to old age. The inside of the Jeep tub is solid as the first day it rolled off the assembly line, no rust or sturctural issues anywhere on the Jeep except for a minor spot of rust on the rear crossmember. I cut out the small section that was rusting so that it can no longer spread to other areas. Like I said before, no structural issues at all with this Jeep. The only things this CJ5 needs to be up and running are a set of front fenders, and a driver and passenger seat. Other than that, the only thing needed is shocks although I have driven it around for the past 3 months without shocks, and I have had zero problems. This Jeep has a clear title, and I have the title in hand. Currently, I believe it sits about 6-7 inches over stock height. All mechanical components and gears show no major signs of wear, so this thing has alot of life left in it. Please, Make an offer!!! I am selling this Jeep CJ5 to take care of some other financial obligations in my life. As far as picking the vehicle up or taking it to its next destination, I would recommend trailering it due to the current weather we are experiencing. Talk with me about shipping if that is an issue for anyone, I will be able to help out up to an extent.
