For sale is a 1977 Pontiac Trans Am, we believe it is the special edition, but we know for a fact it is a California car and has a few things only the California cars came with. Under the hood the car is all original, with the 6.6 litre Oldsmobile 403. The transmission is the original 3 speed automatic. The car starts up without hesitation and runs strong- no oil leaks. Just over 117,000 original miles. Exterior:-The car was recently re-painted and the decals re-applied. I will mention there are a few spots the decals have peeled, but I should note they are the original special edition decals. -It does have some slight surface rust around the rear windshield and tee-tops which wasn't noticed when the car was re-painted.-Windshield wipers do not currently work.-The t-tops are original and manufactured by Hurst. -Rims are not the originals- were replaced by the previous owner. -The exhaust was re-done; replaced by a Flowmaster Super 44 from the headers back. -Tires are brand new Interior/Mechanical-The A.C. works, just needs to be recharged. The heater is not working.-The seals should be re-done- they are coming up in certain spots, especially around the t-tops. There is a bit of a leak around the rear windshield.-The interior could use some re-upholstering in certain spots, but for the most part it looks good.
