Vehicle Detail

Hi Everyone. Up for Auction is an early production 1972 914 with a 1.7 motor. The car has 56k on it and it is ready to go anywhere you want to take it. Runs smooth, stops perfect. All Electronics work perfectly. Just had a 4 wheel alignment. The car is originally from California brought to Oregon about 10 yrs ago. Purchased two years ago from the original owner it would begin to be restored. I will list the things that have been done to it as well as the condition of certain components. If I miss something please feel free to ask and I will get back with you as soon as possible. The one thing I'm unsure of is when it was repainted back to white. The person I purchased it from was unsure. Last two years: Brake lines converted to Steel lines. calipers rebuilt on all 4 corners. Emergency brake works well. New tires on all 4 corners. ( Maybe 500 miles tops on them) Fuel lines replaced. New electric fuel pump installed. New Dual Webers installed ( 34pct) Engine case split, checked and resealed. New oil pump installed. Compression 165-170 Electronic ignition installed New clutch installed and shifter assembly rebuilt with new bushings. ( Shifter is tight, no slop ) New muffler installed. ( heat exchangers are in good shape ) Blower motor works good. All Glass and window regulators are in good shape. Seats are nice, no tears or cracking. Center console nice. Dash is crack free All gauges works as they should as well as wipers and horn. Carpet is showing wear but not to bad. Air conditioning Is all there but the A/C compressor. This is an original A/C car. The car is 99% rust free. battery tray and brace are in good shape and no rust in the hell hole area. Floor boards are solid and the underside looks good. I see no signs of rust. The paint is okay. There are a few bubbles in the paint as well as some chipping around the edges of the A pillar. Overall the car looks nice. Bumpers: Front and Rear both have some small dings in them. Front top pad wavy, rear pad nice. Fog lights work. Taillights and markers all work as they should. The car goes down the road smoothly, the suspension is tight and it does not wander or pull. It is a true pleasure to drive and I would not be afraid to drive it across country. Thank you for looking and if you have any questions please feel free to give me a call or txt at 541-378-8807 .
