Hello, Here we have a 1952 Ford F6 2 Ton Complete. I bought this truck in 2010 on ebay. Please read entire listing below!!! The truck was located in Missouri. I had it shipped to KY. The truck was complete and full of oil, antifreeze. There was no brake fluid. The right rear brake cylinder looks as if it leaked. This truck is a 6 volt POSITIVE ground. The battery was weak so we charged it enough to turn the engine over and it did. It is a Rouge 254 straight 6. 4 speed transmission with reverse. The shifter moves freely. It has a 2 speed rear axle. The tires look great with almost no dry rot and plenty of tread left. The engine, transmission and rear end are still on the frame. I have started cleaning a little on the right front of the frame. I started an off the frame restoration in 2010 and almost completed all the body work. For a 1952 body, there is VERY little rust thru. It was red in color. The cab, fenders, doors, grille, hood etc.. have been stripped of paint. Some parts have been sand blasted to remove some surface rust. Any rusted area on the cab was treated for rust before primed. All cab parts have been sanded to bare metal. It was then primed with metal etching Hi build Acme primer. Then hand sanded smooth and a coat of Acme primer for the second coat. I then hand sanded most of the parts a second time. There is still some sanding to be finished. There are some spots that went back to bare metal from sanding. There has been VERY little filler added. The bottom part of the fenders that attached to the door steps had the most rust damage therefore I added or replaced the metal. The bottom of the cab has a fresh coat of undercoating. The floor of the cab and the insides of the front fenders have 2 coats of POR 15. Several Items operate from vacuum, wipers (I believe still works), brakes and 2 speed rear axle. I removed the electrical harness. (It is mostly intact) It will need to be replaced. Too many bare naked wires. The cab had the speaker and a place for the radio, but no radio. All the Glass is still in tack. There is some hazing in the windshield and vent door glass. Not enough to cause vision problems. The bed of the truck is NOT original, it appears to have been a dump bed at one time. It is all steel and very solid. I have all the parts that I removed, it was complete minus the radio. A few new parts, Gas tank level kit, cab to frame bolt and gasket kit, original type mirrors, an extra set F6 plates, chrome headlight and running light frames.
