This is a nice daily driver 63 Vw baja bug. Motor runs good. Paint is just a couple months old but does have some flaws that weren't fixed before it was painted. This is a daily driver not a show car. The only rust is a tiny hole less than the size of a dime in the battery tray. The entire pan and trunk have been coated with a thick bedliner material. All the glass in the car is in good shape. Car drives nice down the road with no excessive play in the steering or anything. The front beam is stock with the bump stops removed and coilover shocks which definately makes for a better ride and handling as well as additional ground clearence. In the rear the transmission is stock and has new fluid and axle doots. The transmission works good no grinding or poping out of gear. . Also the transmission is solid mounted to the pan with billet aluminum mounts. The motor is a 1600 cc single port motor that has good power. This car cruizes the freeway at 70-75 mph with ease. The carb looks to be fairly new and the fuel lines, fuel filter, fan belt, spark plugs and spark plug wires as well as oil change were just done. Motor is tight with no excessive end play. Also the motor has a new rear seal and new clutch disc and pressure plate just installed, as well as a new starter bushing. The brakes work good.. New coilovers were also installed out back. The Tires all have good tread on them. The fronts are 165-80-15's and the rears are 235-75 15's. New stainless steel body moulding with new clips and seals were just installed. On the interior of the car the door panels are new, the seat covers are in nice shape with 1 tiny tear in the driver's seat. The headliner is in good shape but was installed quite a while ago. All the dash lights work as well as the headlights turn signals running lights and brake lights. The 6 volt wipers do work but aren't hooked up as the car has been converted to 12 volts. I will include the 12 volt to 6 volt drop with the car as well as the wiper arms. Clean little baja you can just jump in turn the key and go. Great deal for the money. Cross country move forces sale.
