Vehicle Detail
We have had to re-list our Wagoneer - the previous auction winner is no longer an ebay member and we were not able to complete the transaction. We learned a lot from the previous auction and are better prepared for this one. Our Wagoneer is in really good shape. No cracks or tears in the upholstery. The dash is not cracked or warped and has the original cassette player in it so the dash has not been altered in any way. The interior wood paneling is in excellent condition. There is one piece of trim missing from the bottom of the rear driver-side door, but everything else is complete, in tact and in great shape. We can't speak for the previous owners (we believe we are the third) but we never smoked in the vehicle and the ashtrays don't appear to have been used. The headliner is starting to bubble a little over the driver and passenger seats and we have included photos of it. In the original auction, we stated that there was no rust but while taking pictures of the undercarriage for interested parties, we notice a little surface rust. We were able to wipe away the rust with our fingers so we believe it to be surface only. We have included these photos. The fuel sending unit is new and we replaced all of the rubber fuel hoses. The powersteering pump and pulley are brand new and we just replaced the plugs and wires. We have a brand new aluminum radiator that we have not had the chance to install and a set of break pads (current pads work fine) but will include them with the sale. All of the power windows and locks work - even the rear window and wiper! The only thing that I can remember that doesn't work is the rear window washer jet - it has not worked since we have owned it. We have had it on a sitting/non-op permit for the last several years, but we get out and start her up and drive her around the block every couple months or so. She starts right up and runs good, but because we have not taken her further that around the block in the last few years, we cannot vouch for her reliability. When we were driving her full time, she never left us on the side of the road. Any issue we ever had happened after we got home! The 4x4 works great and she handles very well in the snow and windy mountain roads that we live in, but also is very smooth and comfortable on the highway. The last time we drove her around the block, the next morning we notice an oil leak that appears to be coming from the oil pan. There are a few cosmetic concerns. The windshield is cracked and there are a couple small dings that are not very noticeable. The paint is oxidized in several places as well. We have include photos of these areas. The photos were taken after we had has some wind and rain so there she shows a little dirty - we have already begun to experience freezing temps here and were unable to give her a proper bath, but we promise she shines up nice (other than the oxidized areas of course). It really would not take much to bring her to tip top. As our family expanded and money got tighter, the Wagoneer just became less practical and less of a priority. We truly love this vehicle and will be sad to see her go but want to see her in the hands of someone that can take care of her and bring her to her full potential. We will be happy to answer any questions so please email us. P.S. We have since removed the plastic skeleton and hula guy - those are not include:)
