This Type III fastback was customized by nationaly know pinstiper Darin Allen owner of Killer Designs. Formally a show car that took first place at World of Wheels and Columbus Goodguys. It was also featured in Ultra VW magazine. He has done work for such celebrities as Jay Leno and Gene Simmons of KISS. He started out with a restored low milage Red Fastback. The engine was rebuilt and bumped up to 1641cc and a Weber 2 bbl. was added. This car turns heads wherever it goes. The custom paint and pinstriping are topnotch. There is a tire rub and dent on the drivers side door from where the previous owner got to close to a big truck. It has a billit steering wheel, rare copper Hurst shifter, new $250 German door seals, new Porsche 2-liter wheels, and new CD player to make driving it more entertaining. For a car that is so low it rides really well. It has 0 rust and the floorpans are perfect
