Vehicle Detail

Rare 1967 Ford Mustang 'S' Code 390 GT Engine, C6 Trans, 9" rear This is a VERY RARE (1 of 568) RUST FREE California Car w Black Plates that is LOADED with options! Check the Marti Report (first picture below) for details of all of the options. Please look at all of the pictures! The water inside the car IS NOT FROM RUST OR COWL PROBLEMS! It is because all of the rubbers/weather stripping is removed and I washed it for the pics.. The ONLY reason there is any water inside is from me washing it!!! I am potentially interested in other Ford cars and maybe the right AMX/Javelin so it doesnt necessarily have to be a total cash deal, but DO NOT bid with those intentions unless you contact me FIRST PLEASE!!! Also, the car is for sale locally so I will reserve the right to end the auction early if it happens to sell outside of the auction. Please read on and good luck! This is a very cool, very rare Mustang that is a VERY EASY restoration for ANYONE. There is ABSOLUTELY NO RUST on this car, ANYWHERE. I have owned this car for about 6 years and bought it pretty much the way it sets with intentions on a full restoration after I finished some of my other projects. Well, to make a long story short, life happens and after struggling with reality the past year or so I realize I will never finish all of these big resto projects. I have sold off some of my projects this summer, and now its time for this one to go. This car is honestly very rare. I have the Deluxe Marti Report for it which shows it as one of 568. It has basically ALL of the options available including: 390 GT "S" Code engine, 3.00 standard axle, Closed Crankcase Emission System, Exhaust Emission Control (its a California Car), C-6 Select Shift Cruise-O-Matic transmission, 7.35x14-4 Ply Rated White Sidewall Tires, Rocker Panel Moulding, Console (roof and floor), Power Disc Brakes, Power Steering, Air Conditioner - Selectaire, AM Radio, Interior Decor Group, Tinted Glass, Deluxe Seat Belts, and Wheel Covers. I have a clean clear title in my name that shows 52,172 original miles on the car. The guy I bought the car from was in the Military and bought the car in Southern California and brought it back to the east coast. He was driving the car until he tore it down to restore it (he gave up 1/2 way through thats when I bought it). I have taken 68 pictures of this car to try to be as absolutely accurate and honest as I can about it in every way. There is NOTHING to hide on this car. All of the hard work is already done. The entire engine, transmission, rear end, suspension, brake system, etc is all COMPLETELY rebuilt. The body is 100% solid. The ONLY thing I am not 100% happy about with the body is the drivers front floor pan had a very small piece fixed in it and I would finish it a little better than whoever did it did. Otherwise, the body/floors/frame/entire chassis is AMAZING. I cannot imagine ever finding another 67 Mustang this solid (unless you buy a Dynacorn shell lol) honestly. The interior needs re-done, the car needs painted, then your choice of new wheels and tires and you will have a very nice, very rare, VERY SOLID Big Block Mustang loaded with rare options... Again, I will try to be as accurate, honest, and descriptive as I can: The Engine: #'s matching 390 GT S Code, all rebuilt to like new specs. I did not build the engine, it was like this when I got the car. The car sets basically the way I bought it other than I have gathered some more of the correct parts for it. I have correct exhaust manifolds for it (it has headers on it now, but I do have the correct manifolds) and valve covers. The only things I do not have to make it "correct" if you were wanting to do a concours resto would be: Carb, Air Cleaner, and emissions parts. Like I said before, I have had the car for 6 years and I have done nothing with it but let it set in my shop and move it now and then. It does have a miss to it now, it may be as small as a spark plug or it could be something else such as a push rod or valve? I honestly do not know and its done nothing but set and start and move now and then around the shop. Transmission: Correct C6, all rebuilt (previous owner had a transmission shop do it). Rearend: All rebuilt The steering, suspension, brakes, and everything are all brand new/rebuilt also. The interior is all there other than the carpet and headliner and dash pad (which were all junk and available new very cheap). Everything else is there, but the seats need re-covered along with the door panels. Consoles are both very nice, the aluminum trim for the cluster is brand new, the decor door moulding at the bottom is nice and everything else needs a good cleaning. The Body: Honestly it is just amazing in every way. There is no rust repair to be done. Other than some minor normal dents and dings its a VERY easy car to paint. I dont really know what else off of the top of my head to say about the car, it is available for inspection at any time at my house. Everything I have for it comes with it including the Marti report. I will attach as many pics to the auction as I can, and here is a link to my Photobucket account with pics of the car --> http://s159.photobucket.com/albums/t154/ublowitow/67%20S%20code%20Mustang%20Coupe/?start=all If anyone would like more pics just let me know. If you would like more info, please email me at itow@frontiernet.net or email me at work at scott@townhillautosales.com . You can also call me through the day at work at 814-735-2293 and just ask for Scott (yes I work at a car lot lol). The car is for sale locally also and I love to swap things. If you have anything Ford related (especially if its not a project! LOL) I may be interested, cars, trucks, and maybe even parts. Just let me know and we could go from there. I have a very reasonable reserve on the car. As far as Payment, I require a $500 deposit via Pay Pal within 24 hours of the end of the auction then the balance in full to be paid within 10 days via Cash in hand. If you would like to pay the balance in ANY WAY OTHER THAN CASH, YOU MUST CONTACT ME ABOUT THIS PRIOR TO BIDDING!!! Do NOT buy the car then ask if I will take a personal check. Anything can be worked out, I am a VERY easy guy to get along with/work with, just let me know whats going on up front. Worst case scenerio if we have to do a bank or cashiers check we will but the car and title will stay in MY POSESSION UNTIL MY BANK TELLS ME EVERYTHING IS GUARANTEED CLEARED. NO IF's AND's or BUT's about that one!!! I can keep/store the car for the buyer for as long as it might take for you to make arrangements but ONLY after it is paid for in full. After 10 days the car will be kept covered, outside at my house (or possibly in my enclosed car trailer if I have the extra room) until it is paid in full and released by me. BIDDERS WITH ZERO (0) FEEDBACK MUST CONTACT ME TO PROVE YOU ARE SERIOUS AND ABLE TO FOLLOW THROUGH WITH THE PURCHASE OR I WILL CANCEL YOUR BID. PLEASE RESPECT THIS! I have had too many prior auctions ruined by Zero feedback buyers... If you are serious its EASY to contact me so please do it especially if you are a Zero feedback bidder!
