1982 Mercedes-Benz 240d diesel with automatic transmission. Recent restorations include: rebuilt transmission, 2year old exhaust system, recently replaced tires, brand new vacuum pump, recently replaced glow plugs. We drove the car daily until last week when the Engine lost compression , stalled out and will not start. The Interior is in good condition, with wear equivalent to the age of the vehicle. There are wear marks in the carpet, some interior trim pieces are pealing off. There are no major rips or tears in the leather, dashboard does have sun cracks. Car has sunroof, matching hub caps, first aid kit, a/c has R34 conversion, body is in good condition with minor rusting around the bottom panels and wheel wells. However, for the age of this vehicle the body has been well kept. Buyer will need to plan for transport as the engine is currently not running. This car is in too good of condition to part out. As stated previously we recently rebuilt the transmission added a new vacuum pump and exhaust system. This is a beautiful looking vehicle. Someone with the ability to re-build, will prosper.
