Vehicle Detail
You are Bidding on: A very nice, un-touched un-molested un-restored 1976 Honda CB750 K6 in the original paint color - Antares Red I bought this bike from the original owner last month. He had ridden the bike on a regular basis, so it never sat for a long period of time, which is the best way to preserve a bike. Everything gets lubricated and maintained, so there is no deterioration of things like pipes, seals, gas tank, carbs etc. This bike barely turns over and starts right up and idles. It runs down the road like its 3 years old, and sounds wonderful as all these bikes do with those musical 4 into 4 pipes. The pipes by the way are completely original and rust free. One of the pipes has a dent way down under the bike, so is completely out of sight unless you kneel down and look up under the bike. All systems work on the bike like new. It has new tires, new battery, and a new chain The seat has a couple of rips in it, so it needs to be replaced or recovered. I will recover the seat in a reproduction seat cover if the winner of this auction so chooses. All the paint on the bike is original and un-touched in anyway. The tank has some scratches and the seat has rubbed through where the tank meets the seat. Otherwise, the paint on the tank is un faded and still has a nice shine to it. Personally, I would leave it as is, because its only original once :) The side covers are near mint with absolutely no fade, no cracks, and the tabs are in perfect condition, which is rare for these bikes. The gauges are in excellent condition and work fine, aside from the typical fade of the tach's redline area. The chrome overall is OK condition with minor pitting here and there. Both front and rear fenders are in fair condition. Both have typical dents in them. It hard to find one of the bikes in original condition that dont have dents in the fenders. New ones are still available from Honda however. Overall, the bike is clean, but has typical tarnishing on the engine covers and cases, nothing major, and there are the typical tarnishing and rust spots & rusty nuts and bolts here and there which is easily fixed by polishing them or replacing them. The bike has the original California title and the original Blue California Plate which is very cool for you California bidders. I am listing this as a NO RESERVE auction Please visit my site at digitalpizza dot com and check out my classic bike restorations and keep in mind that I will restore this bike to award winning perfection if you so choose. Or you can call me (Pete) if you have any questions at 415-272-8133 I am sorry, but I will not do a "buy it now" unless it is listed as such. Check out my other items! Be sure to add me to your favorites list! Shipping: Buyer is responsible to arrange shipping, however I can suggest a couple of different shippers that I have used and am very happy with their service. Figure its going to cost 500.00 - 675.00 to ship it within the US. It could run 1000.00 - 1500.00 to ship overseas.
