1970 MUSTANG CONVERTIBLE - This Mustang was a raffle car for "The Friends of the Norwalk Foundation, Inc.", a non-profit organization, of which I am a member. The winner took the cash award instead of the car. Please take the time to look at our website, www.norwalkmotorcar.com. This is a very nice, driver-quality, Mustang that was treated to a cosmetic restoration several years ago. Specs on the car are as follows:Excellent paint in its original shade of Sky BlueExcellent power operated, convertible topInterior is very nice - no tears or rips, dash pad very niceDoors shut goodAll body gaps are very goodSide glass aligns nicelyBody is very straight with no waves or ripplesNice, clean engine compartmentOriginal 302 V8 4bbl (originally, 2bbl & intake included)Runs very goodTransmission shifts properlyAll exterior trim, grill & bumpers are very niceAll weatherstrips are nice and pliableTrunk is very niceQuarters & extensions appear to be original and excellent with no patching visibleFloorpans have been replaced, but the work done was very good; you really have to look to find the repairs; there is a small area of rust-through under the batteryAll frame rails and such are very solid Car still retains its manual drum brakesPower steering works wellAll gauges work properlyThere is a wear mak in the original windshield from the wipersWe think the wire hubcaps are from a later Ford but look niceThere is a noticable shimmy in the front-end when driving the car at or above 65 mph; therefore, some front-end work may be needed.
