I apologize to all the bidders and watchers for having my listing completely disappearing. Ebay removed my listing page yesterday without my knowledge (I just found out about it today), because someone reported me as having different BMW models on my listing, and therefore was in direct violation of their policies. I am re-listing my M6 after working out my differences with Ebay, and please do not hesitate to get in touch with me regarding this issue if you have any questions. First, let me say that you are dealing with a BMW and Mercedes car enthusiast that enjoy collecting and working on these types of vehicles, and have been an EBay member since 2001 with a perfect score of 100%, so rest assure that you are dealing with a responsible and serious person. Please read all the information listed on this auction, as I took my time in writing this listing to represent my car accurately for the next buyer. I just sold here on Ebay 2 cars last week, a 1991 BMW E30 M3 convertible (item # 110964480335), and a 1992 Mercedes Benz 500E (item # 110962174892) please check these 2 auction for peace of mind. I will NOT bore you with all the stats and history of this classic 1988 BMW M6. If you are looking at my listing you probably know the back ground or this great vehicle. If you don’t, I strongly suggest to Google this car for more info. This BMW M6 is absolutely stunning in every way possible, and it is truly the ULTIMATE DRIVING EXPERIENCE. The color combination is amazing (black over Dove grey leather) and both the interior and the exterior are absolutely in mint condition (look at the pictures). Under my ownership, I had done some tasteful upgrades to satisfy my middle life crisis (as my wife puts it), and performed some mechanical maintenance to make this car perfect and in turn key condition: . Purchased new set of 17’ wheels. . Mounted a set of brand new Michelin tires on them. . Painted all the brake calipers “Ferrari” red and added the “Brembo” stickers on the front ones. . Painted all the side reflectors black. . Replaced the factory radio with an Alpine cd/Ipod/sat/cd/usb deck. . Replaced the old steering wheel with a true BMW that has an airbag (safety first). . New bushing front suspension. . New OEM front air dam. . New ross-drilled rotors all the way around. . New brake pads. . Replaced all the factory speakers with the high end Alpine speakers, and if you are into the Rolling Stones, Andrea Bocelli, or any other music, you will be enjoying every second of your ride. . H&R springs with Bilstein shocks. . New front seats cover redone to factory specs. . New and very hard to locate rear speaker covers imported directly from BMW Germany. . Replaced both fog lights assembly with true BMW parts, as the old ones looked hazy and one of them was cracked. . Converted the AC to R134. . Added the hard to find “Zender” rear spoiler. . Replaced the trunk rubber. . Added a "Dinan" front tower strut brace, for better handling. . Replaced the hood insulation pieces. . Just had an oil change with Mobil 1 Synthetic. And the list goes on and on. This car is probably a strong 9 out of 10, for a 24 years old car, and they do not come for sale in this condition very often, the pictures speak for themselves. Everything works perfectly. Most of the mechanical work under my ownership was performed at East Coast Exotics (a BMW specialist) in Yorktown VA, within the last year and about 5K miles. The engine is powerful and run smoothly. The transmission shifts properly thru all the gears. The paint is in excellent condition and very shiny with NO RUST or rot. The interior is in excellent condition. The AC and heat are both working properly thru all the settings. The locking system for all the doors and trunk, are opening and closing with out any issues. All the windows switches operates properly, all the seats functions work properly thru all the positions, and even the head rest for both the driver and the passenger seats goes up and down perfectly. The sun roof opens and closes with out any issue and does not leak. All the headlights, fog lights, brake lights, turn signals/reverse lights….are all working properly. This 1988 M6 drives and perform as it should and I will not hesitate to drive it across country. This fine automobile will easily last another 300K miles with proper care. The style, design and history behind these BMW M6 will remain a classic for ever. Please expect some extra miles as this car will be driven occasionally until sold. I have a clean and clear title with out any lien in hand and 2 keys for this car. The only reason why I am selling this car is because I will be accepting a job offer over seas by March 2013. When placing a bid on this BMW M6, please make sure to compare “apples to apples”, and pay attention to the caliber car this is and who you buying it from. I have placed a very reasonable reserve price for my car (where most similar M6 bids starts at), but if you are looking for the deal of the century, then this is probably NOT the BMW you are looking for.
