I have owned this car for fifteen years spending ten of those working on this car in my spare time. Original mileage is unknown; the 789 miles on the odometer has accumulated since completion, primarily driving to car shows The interior is all new with instrument panel guages and console refurbished.The dash is a new unit from Dashes Direct with correct a/c and heat outlets, not a cosmetic glue on cover.Car was completely rewired with a Ron Francis system. The 351 Cleveland was rebuilt with mild performance upgrades. The toploader 4 speed was rebuilt with a Dan Williams Toplader kit. The Centerforce clutch is actuated by a McLeod hydraulic system. The Flowmaster dual exhaust system has a fabulous performace sound with a lopey idle from the Lunati cam. Space does not allow a description of everthing I have done, however I estimate 40-45,000.00 dollars has been spent on parts and outside labor, not including what I originally paid for the car, and my time. At the 2008 Bennington/Hemmings car show this car placed first in American Muscle thru 1983; at the 2010 show Best of show Factory Muscle thru 1985; at the 2011 show Best of show 1964-1986 Mustangs.
