(please see my delivery option following this description!) Up for auction is my BMW 1200 GSA. I am the original owner and purchased this motorcycle brand spanking new from Bloodworth BMW in Nashville, TN. I drove the bike for several years, even taking a trip up to Alaska. Unfortunately it has been in the garage and not ridden much in the past few years. I still get it out in the summer time and the bike has been maintained perfectly. Just don't have as much desire for long trips after the Alaska run...butt is still sore! The bike has been garage kept the entire time I have owned her. Always serviced and babied. There is only one tiny little blemish on the bike...as you can see in the pics, there is a small thumb sized tear in the seat. I did that when I swung my boot over the saddle and didn't clear the seat. My boot snagged that little spot and the rest is history. And that is really the only thing wrong with her. Tires are still in great shape. I added on the boxes (stickers should peel off with some remover...or leave them for that traveled war savy look!), and the Tourtech pouches over the side guards. The bike also has the windshield extender and a CB radio with antenna. I custom made the mounting bracket for the CB and wired it up, but never used it...not once. I assume it works,but you are buying the bike...the CB is thrown in free. That way if it doesn;t work you can't be too upset. Take a look at the pics, they tell the tale. The bike was $20,000 with boxes and such, but my reserve is half that. Now...on to delivery. I have been doing a lot of thinking about this. I will deliver for free within 80 miles of area code 40505 (Lexington, KY.) If you would like me to drive the bike to where you are, here is what I propose. I am always up for a road trip. I wouldn't mind one last ride with the old gal. So if you would like me to deliver the bike to you, I will do so basically anywhere (only depends on weather...can't drive in snow!) in the lower 48 states (NOT ALASKA OR HAWAII). You simple reimburse me for fuel (receipts will be presented upon arrival) and reasonable hotel (if overnight stay is needed) and I will pay to get myself back home at my own expense. Sound like a deal? Believe me, a delivered bike would cost you a whole lot more in shipping...I'm just doing this because I like to ride...and I know I will handle the bike better than any deliever company could. If you would like to discuss this option, please email me PRIOR TO AUCTION END so we can make sure this delivery option will work. Otherwise, if I don;t hear from you PRIOR TO AUCTION END, then I will assume you will be coming to Lexington to get the bike. I truly truly hate to see this bike go, but it needs go be driven and I just haven't been doing that lately. I will probably regret selling but it is time.
