I am selling this 1966 Ford Fairlane 2-Door Hardtop for a friend. It is a rescued restoration/street rod project that the previous owner had lost interest in finishing. This is a NO RESERVE auction. This vehicle is a survivor of the mid ‘60’s muscle car era and would make a daily driver restoration project. It has a clear Kansas title. The odometer’s indicated mileage of 84,487 cannot be verified. It has temporary 2K primer applied to seal and preserve the original sheet metal. The previous owner advised that the motor and transmission have only 3,000 miles since rebuild. The motor is 289cubic inch V8 with a mild competition cam shaft, an Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold, Holley four barrel carburetor and Ford Motorsport rocker covers. It is equipped with headers and new exhaust system. The car starts, runs and drives well supporting the previous owners statement of a recently rebuilt motor/transmission. The fuel tank will require cleaning. Test running/driving has been accomplished using a temporary fuel supply. A cowl grill and front radiator grill are included with this car. The tires are low mileage with good tread depth and were installed by previous owner. Age unknown.
