Vehicle Detail

Offered for your consideration is a very rare and desirable Series I 1975 Ferrari Dino 308GT4. The one year run of first series cars had simple carburation, no catalitic converters, utilized multiple fiberglass and aluminum panels over spaceframe construction to save on weight. The result is purer, lighter and more powerful Ferrari than it’s successors! It is also easier to live with and maintain than the later versions. 308GT4 main claim to fame is the fact that it’s the very first V8 Ferrari to come from Maranello and the only Bertone designed Ferrari ever put into production. This particular example #318 has only 40596 miles on the clock. It has one of the best color combinations for a GT4, Silver over Black interior. 16" QV wheels really help complete the look to set it apart from the competition! In the last 12 years of ownership this car was part of private collection of about 25 cars, and therefore hasn’t been driven very much. As a result, the following has been recently completed: -New timing belts and tensioners, -Overhauled brake system (rebuilt calipers and turned rotors), -All fluids changed. Other upgrades on this vehicle include Recaro seats, Koni Red shocks and 16" wheels from a later QV model. This combination along with the Limited Slip Differential makes for one of the best performers in it’s class. The car is a blast to drive, very responsive and quick, and handles like it’s on rails. The carburators were last tuned at Ferrari of Seattle 8k miles ago, and are still in perfect tune. The troublesome choke mechanism has been disconnected. All you need to do is pump the pedal a few times to prime the Webers, and the engine starts easily. The AC compressor and it’s bracket have been removed, therefore the AC is not operative, but the rest of the system is there. The car has been repainted some years ago and fitted with a sunroof, and the paint still looks great with very shiny clearcoat. Other than that, this Ferrari is stock, fully serviced and ready for some serious fun! Dont miss the opportunity to own this fantastic and fast appreciating classic!
