We have for sale a 1983 Volkswagen GTI in great shape for its age. It is sunroof delete and is equipped with factory cruise and driving lights in the spoiler. It has excellent tires and the interior is in very good shape with minimal wear. All in all, it is in very good shape except for a couple of glitches. The belt was disconnected from the A/C when we bought the car and It has the familiar shift linkage problem so prevalent in these models, which makes it difficult to get into reverse. The car starts and idles, but then stalls under acceleration, but starts right up again. We have replaced the fuel pump and filter, but that is about as far as our mechanical prowess goes. We are sure that someone with knowledge of this unit would have no problem in making this a dependable vehicle. It is a solid car with great potential.. This vehicle is located in eastern North Dakota and the buyer will be responsible for transportation.
