Vehicle Detail
Beautiful Honda CL 350 for sale. Turn it onto a full Cafe Racer by adding a cafe seat or back to original with a set of handlebars. This baby is ready to ride and good enough to show off at bike night! No rust anywhere, comes with owners manual and tool kit. Cosmetically: Recent paint looks fantastic, though not perfect as there is one little spot on the brake side of the gas tank as seen in the photos. Always garage kept, all of the chrome is gorgeous, new tires, brakes are all good, everything works as it should. The inside of the fuel tank is just as clean as the outside with no fuel leaks and no signs of ever being laid over. The paint on the gas tank is excellent, especially for a bike that is 40 years old! No rust on the rims. The chain and sprocket also appear as new along with the tires. This bike to my knowledge has never been abused. This is just an unbelievable example of Honda motorcycle history as it was a breakthrough in technology and appearance! A little history on this model; http://www.livablelandscape.org/CYCLES/350hist.htm Mechanically: Even when cold, the engine starts consistently on the first bump of the starter or second or third kick and will sit there and idle all day long! This bike screams like a Wildcat with its nuts in a trap and absolutely flies. It redlines at 10,500 RPM, will do the ¼ mile in 14 seconds flat, and tops out at 100 mph. Riding down the road, there are no wobbles, shimmies or shakes, the clutch still has plenty of give, and she will keep up with the best 350 scramblers on the road today and will outperform all but a few. The speedometer and Tach work as they should. All lights, blinkers, brake lights, horn, and everything else works as it should as well. The brakes are all good. The exhaust is as solid as they come although there is a small amount of surface rust on the bike side of the pipes. I would rate the condition of this bike as “Good to Very good” and have set a reserve well below what NADA says the bike is worth in this condition. Feel free to email me with any questions and you are also welcome to come and see the bike by appointment here in Mercer, Pa. I guarantee a clear title for the bike. All shipping cost are the responsibility of the buyer! I will accept paypal only under certain conditions! The winning bidder must contact me immediately to set up payment arrangements. Once full payment is received, I will release the bike to the shipper. I highly recommend going through USHIP.com as they are fast, inexpensive, and easy to deal with. I am not desperate to sell, am not a dealer, I don't do this for a living, I'm an enthusiast. If you'd like any detailed photos of a specific area of the bike, just ask! I have many photos of it but will be glad to take more if needed. Please ask any questions you like before bidding. You will be answered quickly and honestly. I will not sugarcoat anything for the sake of a few extra dollars and am not in the business to screw anyone. With all the bikes I own or have owned over the years, I know how disappointing it is when someone over-sells a bikes condition so you may be sure I won't do that to you. I have disclosed and will gladly provide photos of all known defects for your inspection. You are welcome and encouraged to personally inspect the bike and test drive it prior to bidding. Although this bike is sold "As Is" and "Without Warranty", I want you to be happy and I will do anything within reason to me to see that you are. Thank you and good luck! If you have any questions, please ask them now before you bid or buy! I reserve the right to end this auction at any time in order to sell this item locally as well. However, once reserve has been met, the bike will go to the highest bidder here on ebay! Good Luck!
