Vehicle Detail
This has been our special show car for years. This car is garage kept and yet good enough for an exhibit or a daily commuter. When I purchased the car from a Specialty Classic Auto dealer in Wisconsin, I immediately drove it 1,879 miles to Southern Utah (nice high & dry climate). It was a thrilling drive. After an exhaustive check and service we replaced the entire suspension system with 100% original parts, all fluids (needed or not). All dings and flaws (few) were meticulously touched up. It looks new and drives like its new. The seat belt light is on due to a faulty set belt actuator (this is very common for all the M3's). We purchased and will include with the sale the diagnostic computer (and circuit restorer). It reports only that the belt tensor is intermittent and it resets it. It reports every thing else as 100% (the light if and when it comes back on is a minor annoyance). The ACS light comes on occasional (this is normal for all M3's) but has been off 95% of the time. The A/C capacitor replacement, FSB Resistor replacement, and brake light switch replacement (universal one time failures) have all been repaired. There are few minor dings and scratches that can only be seen very close up, and a couple of rear seams unstitched and they would all be called, slight. Tires are in good condition as is the top and liner. Regretfully, now we feel we need we need to go down to one car. All these items are extremely minor and not worth repairing in our opinion, however I did lower the minimum price to include repairing anything desired after purchased. This is my wife’s favorite car (ever). I try to get it (from her)whenever I can (LOL). It drives extremely well and is fun, just like new. We drove a new one, and still unforgettable. We now need one less car since she has had cancer and she cannot easily get around, but we will miss it, greatly! We bought it since we considered it like new and we really were the second owner (during the recession it went from dealer to auction to dealer) so checking history shows 5 owners, when it is actually 2. This lowers rating below 84(+) where it actually belongs. We like the Automatic (and switchable to manual), its zip, safety and comfort. Do not hesitate to call, ask any questions or request more pictures. We are in no hurry to sell and we can wait to for the right person and right deal comes along. These cars generally go for $14k to$15k in perfect condition. We deducted all repairs (all unnecessary / frivolous in our opinion) to get to $12,500 to suit any BMW buyer. You will not find a nicer E36 M3, low mileage, rare and attractive color combination anywhere!
