HI EVERYBODYno engine or trans,,i started this rebuilding project around 27 yrs ago[drove it a year and workkd on it 27 thats great huh].this was a 325hp 396 wih the m20 muncie trans.still have the aircleaner..found a receipt where the last part i bought was sept 87.i workd at a dealer and parts were cheap dealer cost. installed new gm full qtrs [the correct way]and outer wheel houses,new gm front fenders painted inside and installed and adjusted.front plastic inners have few cracks but alright,has new NAPA full exhaust,i replaced wheel cylinders and brakes and front calipers hoses etc.new delco shocks ,orig muncie shifter is still in car,brake pedal is hard like the master is stuck,fuel tank is good shape,none of the glass is broken or cracked,tinted glass with astro ventalation, keep in mind this was round 25-27 yrs ago .car has always been stored inside except for a short time bout ten years ago when it was stolen and recoverd a few miles away without its engine and trans.i really havnt had much interest since.car is really really solid .i did patch in the trunk floor on each side at the body mount position.floor pans are solid 12 posi rear axle, i have all three pieces of grille new g.m. and all grille chrome new as well,new side markers all 4 ,new gm heavy chrome exhaust tips not yet installed.all original wheels and rings!!! ,driveshaft is in car, hood is nice and straight,the bucket seats with all tracks etc and console refurbishable or useable. rear seat bottom is useable and rebuildable. i can not find the rear seat back.maybe it went with the door and side panels to the trash cuz they were not useable except the moldings i kept. i just dont remember.i have the orig manual and correct protecto plate for this car and vin . local guy i knew bought it new rite here.there are a dents and dings in the body some in the new panels but you wont find any rusted out stuff,i roughed the qtr seams in while back,small spot rust on deck lid left corner.,there a lil lite surface rust residue from sittn around in a few places and there is a small spot needs welded on each side of trunk lid filler by the back window.the most hard extensive and expensive part of a restore has been already done on this car., i have most all the other chrome cept for headlite bezels are bent up, please put me out of my misery!!! i dont wanna work on this old car all my life! im already mid 50's not for sell local as i dont wanna see it goin down the road.bring your trailer and come this way, starting bid is my reserve On Oct-25-12 at 07:48:51 PDT, seller added the following information: ok to answer some ? i got under the car,plastic posi trac lube tag is still on fill plug , the exhaust is bolted to the original hangers in good shape, there are no rust holes in the cowl ,rear shocks are delco pleasureizer the gold ones,,not air shocks.,there are some places on the car where the joint seam compound is missing .actually the whole car should prolly be reseald at the joints,there is a spot under by the left qtr that needs weld bout 6-7 inch, roof still has paint under vinyl top.headliner is actually still in car but dirty,sail panels are gone tho. im not gonna pick my own car to pieces like i usually do. thanks for looking, wiper motor and linkages are intact,thanks!!!
