1978 Lincoln Town Car This is one glorious Lincoln Town Car. In the 12 years I have been with this company, we have not had a late 70’s Town Car in this exceptional condition. With only 39,000 actual miles, this car has had a very pampered life. One word describes this car – DELUXE! Yes, this luxury Land Yacht is the perfect car to take onto the super highways and cruise the night away. This Lincoln has been well preserved and would be something you can enter into an AACA Survivor class. The body is straight, the paint is smooth with a high gloss shine, and the chrome is very nice. It was Zeibart’d when new so that has helped protect this car as well. The original interior is in luscious condition. The leather is in fabulous shape and still supple. The door panels are in great condition. The original carpet and headliner are still in excellent shape. The dash is perfect. It even has a period Sears Roadtalker 40 CB radio that looks like one of the first car phones. This Town Car runs and drives very well. It fires right up, idles smooth, goes down the road like a champion, and is one of the most comfortable cars you can buy. It’s like driving your couch. The trunk is in wonderful original condition with the original factory stampings on the inside of the trunk lid. The engine compartment still has its original paper tags and stampings on the valve covers. When this Town Car arrived, we all piled into it and took it down the road to see how it drove. Everyone that works here was impressed and pleasantly surprised on how nice and how beautiful this car was in person. And even in the insane heat, the air conditioning is cold.
