This is a family car that has been in the family for the past 20 years. Well loved, it has been my son's car for the past 7 years. Engine seized (probably broken timing belt). Engine does NOT run. However, drive train is in fine working condition. No bad snychros, transmission shifts like butter. Relatively new clutch (30k miles approx on new clutch), almost new brakes (new ATE rotors and Hawk high performance pads all around). Comes with two sets of wheels including the original iX spoke wheels. Mileage listed is approximate. Odometer stopped working. This would be a great parts car for anyone owning an IX (the working transaxle is worth the price of the car alone!). Also if you pick up a used 325 engine at a junk yard, the car would be operational and with some decent tires would give many more miles. The car has a decent battery, A/C does NOT work (I think it is a fan issue not a compressor issue). Windows work, All parts on car, doors, hood and truck are all original to the car--all BMW parts, no South American junk body parts. The paint is in bad shape but no signs of rust (There may be some rust but I don't see any signs of rust). The car has replaced CV joints in front, a new radiator (within the last 100 miles), new power steering fluid container, About 7 years ago I had the fuel tank and fuel pump replaced.Also the driver side rear wheel hub was replaced within the past two years. The car needs shocks. Driver's sun visor is not attached. Missing manual sunroof crank handle. Glovebox latch is broken and glovebox does not open. Car is dry and does not leak to my knowledge. Sunroof does not leak to my knowledge.
