I am selling a 1968 Karmann Ghia so that my wife can take our youngest child to meet his grandpa as he was diagnosed with cancer,and I want him to see his grandson. The car is in really good share for it's age no rust in the engine or trunk space, undercarridge is good frame is solid pretty much all the body work is done and ready for paint, just had it serviced at 101 imports in Lincoln City Or, valves adjusted carburator rebuilt and new charging system.I am into the car for about 3400$ and would like to get at least some of it back.Tags are current,car came from California. ,The headliner and door panels are original and in good shape the seat covers are all new,with two inch foam padding for a more comfy ride.The motor has been switched out with a dual port 1600 originally had the 1400.The oil system has been upgraded to include an additional oil cooler and external oil filter,which will really increase the life of the car. The front end is on a drop front beam giving it a real agrressive stance.It has been upgraded to front disc brakes.The rear axle is original.Has nice custom rims and tires . The car drives great runs really strong, and shifts perfectly, and has a scat shifter,a lot of fun to drive.Everywhere I go people ask or comment about the car.This is a really cool old Ghia and would be a great car to add to your collection,or a good place to start one.
