Up for sale is a 1960 Ford F-100. It has a strait solid body with very little rust. The front floor of the bed, and the bottom of the right hand door has some rust. At some point in the past the inside was poorly painted and the paint is flaking off. The seat has been replaced with a later model bench seat. The strait axle front end was replaced with a later model independent suspension with disc brakes. It has a 302 with a 2 bbl carb, electronic ignition, power steering, and power brakes. The motor runs smooth and quiet with no unusual noises. The transmission is a C4 automatic, which takes all gears fine with no hesitation. The truck has dual exhaust. With a few repairs the truck should be a good driver. The steering column has been changed to a later model and the steering linkage does not work as it should. It will take all gears, but it is hard to get into park. The throttle linkage sticks from not being used for some time. The right side motor mount is broke and will need to be replaced. The gas tank has rust in it, so we have been cranking it on a 5 gal. gas can. The tank will need to be either cleaned and coated or replaced. The reason I am selling this truck is I simply have too many projects that take priority over this one. I have a 67 SS Nova, 68 Camaro, 61 Apache, 64 Falcon, and 4 motorcycles among others, so this has to go. The reserve is low and it is for sale locally.
