Vehicle Detail
NICE!! Must SEE to appreciate! 1983 Datsun / Nissan 280ZX, 90% Original, 2nd Owner, showing 140400 miles. Excellent condition, two new tires, new shocks and struts all around, new master brake cylinder, new battery. Original paint job, deep, beautiful shine with very few flaws. This car has always been garaged, and the paint shows it. Strong and clear, not faded. Original glass t-tops with original storage bags, original floor mats. Runs like a sewing machine, rides like a low-slung sports car. Now the downside... the leather seats have been re-upholstered due to wear and tear, so they're not original material, and the headliner has been replaced. They look great, but not original. The factory radio is with the car, but an updated Pioneer stereo was installed. The dash is cracked with age, and has a plastic dash cover over it. Some of the interior trim has been removed because the plastic snaps that originally held them on have deteriorated with age, however, all the trim is present. You'll notice in the photos that headlight covers have been installed as well. I don't think the air works, and something in the dash rattles. The turn signals work, but the stem doesn't return after the turn. ALSO... oil gets in the radiator, which I believe is indicative of a blown head gasket. Otherwise the car runs great. This will make someone an awesome show car with minimal restoration, or an everyday driver. This vehicle has never been smoked in that I'm aware of, and there is no evidence of having ever been smoked in. And I keep it closed up in a garage, so the smell would be evident. Also, there is no under-body rust (or above body, for that matter) that I can see. See the newly added photos.
