These SL roadsters were the pinnacle of German style and engineering especially for the late seventies. This Mercedes is all original throughout and comes equipped with her correct 4.5L V8 motor, automatic transmission, climate control air-conditioning, power steering, power brakes, cruise control, power antenna and much more. Mercedes built these cars to last and that is just what this one did. The body is extremely clean with a very dry undercarriage and good metal all around. One repaint the correct color and the interior is exceptionally nice. Low original miles for the year and she runs out strong. The original price of this car for 1978 was almost forty thousand dollars back then. The Benz has her correct original alloy wheels including a matching spare in the trunk. She comes with her matching hardtop as shown and she has a like new black soft top that is in excellent condition tucked away inside her hard parade boot. The glass and trim is in great shape all around and her lights and gauges are in functioning order including the in dash clock. An updated compact disk player with integrated speakers are about the only thing not original on the car and these were installed very well. This car has a receipt from the shop for about three thousand dollars in complete service less than two years ago. The 450SL comes with her original owners manual also.
