Ready for sale is an awesome 2004 Honda CB600F, named the CB599. This is a Great choice for someone just starting out that wants something that your not going to be "leaned over" on yet wants a sporty bike with great acceleration to go with the comfort. This has been labelled a "Naked" sportbike because it does not have a full fairing. But, it is still a 600cc liquid-cooled four cylinder Honda engine that has over 97 hp. So this is not like your Dad's CB. This is very light, 400 lbs, and has a very low seat height, 31.5 inches, so this is not only comfortable on those long rides through the mountains during peak foliage season, but very easy to handle through stop and go bumper to bumper commuter traffic. The liquid-cooled engine provides plenty of power for highway speeds, yet has a low center of gravity and conventional handlebars to make learning on this an easy task, but will allow one to "grow into" all the power that this bike has since it's styled after it's Championship winning CBR600, but without all the maintenance associated with race bikes. This CB has a six-speed transmission to add to acceleration and keep fuel costs down, plus with its 5 gallon tank, your going to be going right by a lot of gas stations. This bike originally sold for over $7000 so Honda just didn't put together anything below their standards. We got this bike from the original owner who purchased it new from our sister store, but through changes in family life afforded him no time to use it. It was sitting for a while so our Service Department just completed a complete carb overhaul including new floats and needles so this bike is guaranteed to start right on up and run as reliable as you would expect any Honda to. This comes with instrumentation that give the proper feedback to the rider for full control over the bike, such as, a speedometer, a tachometer with a 13,000 rpm redline,a temperature guage, an odometer and two tripmeters. Plus this Honda even comes with a low fuel warning light. The bike was knocked over in one of those all too familiar driveway mishaps so the left side engine cover has some scratches, see close-up photo, the very tip of the exhaust sheild has an inch long scratch and a few other nicks here and there. Other than that little "oops" this bike is as clean as any used bike one might come across. Just look at the close-up photos to see just how rust and tarnish free this bike is. So if you are just beginning to ride or a very experienced rider, this bike just may be the right choice if you want something that won't let you down and take you safely and comfortably for mile after mile.
