This awesome '69 Bronco came to us from a great guy in a small town in Louisiana who told me he had seen this Bronco riding around town for a few years but he never met the guy who owned it. That was, until one day when he and his wife were taking a nice drive, they saw it parked in the driveway of a very large home not too far from where he lived. He had admired it so much and had owned a few Broncos over the years so he decided to pull in to the driveway. The owner of the Bronco was outside and they began talking about the Bronco. The owner explained that it had been a Texas and Louisiana truck most, if not all of its life. He had done a complete restoration of the truck about 6 years ago and added some custom touches that appealed to him. He also mentioned it was not for sale. Well, the guy who stopped by gave the man his phone # in case he ever changed mind and about a year later sure enough the phone rang. He ran right over and bought the Bronco last Spring and drove it and enjoyed it all spring and summer. Circumstances changed and he decided he needed to sell it to take care of other priorities. Now this awesome Bronco can be yours!! From the Vin # which starts with U15 you can tell this Bronco did not start its life as a Half Cab, however as many people have done, the truck was converted to a half-cab look and has a correct Half Cab hardtop. Personally I think it has a fantastic stance with the Half Cab Hard Top on and looks much better then a Full hard Top does. I also think these bronco look equally as great with no top at all. This one also has a bikini top for those hot and sunny days when needed. You get 3 great looks from one awesome Bronco!!! When this Bronco was restored about 6 years ago the color was changed from the original medium ivy green metallic to the awesome shade of grey it is today. I am not certain of the exact name of the color but to me it looks a lot like the Pepper grey color of the 1967 Mustang Eleanor Fastbacks. The body itself looks great. Body panels line up nicely and for a rugged 4wd Bronco the body panels are pretty darn straight. Paint quality overall is excellent and I do not see any bubbling or signs of rust on the body. Doors and rear tailgate open and shut with ease. Roll Bar is in great condition. Of course this Bronco, like so many had the flares added over front and rear wheels to accommodate the larger wheel and tire set up. The gentleman who had the restoration done was a welder and he added custom hand welded front and rear bumpers that give this Bronco its own unique look and stance. The front bumper basically shouts, " get out of my way"! Originally the owner had a winch mounted on the front bumper so it would be easy to add one if desired. I think the bumpers match the overall look of this truck but you could also easily have them unbolted and put it back to more of a stock appearance with chrome bumpers that are inexpensive and readily available. The hard top itself is in great condition and has a custom headliner. Windshield and door glass all looks excellent and windows roll up and down easily. There is also a custom header that clears the windshield wiper motor for above the windshield where the bikini top hooks in to. The bikini top attaches easily and fits in a storage pouch between the front seats when not in use. While this Bronco did receive a very nice cosmetic restoration it has also been driven and enjoyed since then approximately 8300 miles. As a result there are a few rock chips that have been touched up and a few chips along the passengers door edge where it meets the front fender that have also been touched up. Overall the body and paint look great and you can proudly show up at any of your local car shows and cruise ins and you may even go home with a trophy or two. Here is a closer look at the body: The interior of this Bronco looks as good as the exterior. Front seats were recovered in a great saddle tan color that really compliments the exterior nicely and adds to the unique look this Bronco has. A very nice mahogany look Grant Steering wheel was added as well. The dash remains pretty much stock with the exception of an added Alpine CD Stereo system that was neatly installed including I pod adapter that is in the glove box. The interior and bed of this Bronco were rhino lined and the interior also has a vinyl mat installed as well. Center console added for a little storage and drink holder space. Right now all of the gauges are working, however the fuel gauge only seems to be reading from the auxiliary tank. This may just be a sending unit on the main tank and if possible we will address this. The original Vin # tag is still attached to the glove box. There are some minor chips on the inside door panels probably from the seat belt and the drivers side arm rest has a few spots where the black has worn off. Overall the interior looks really nice is very comfortable and neat. Have a look: This stout '69 Bronco is powered by the original 302 V8 that we were told was rebuilt at the same time the paint and body were redone. The automatic transmission also received a rebuild at the same time. There is just a little over 8300 miles since this work was done and this is a very nice cruising Bronco. Power steering and Power front disc brakes make steering a breeze and stopping just as easy. Now lets not forget that this Bronco sits up a bit thanks to the 3 1/2" lift kit and 35x12.5 BFG Mud Terrain TA tires. These big tires are mounted on a nice set of American racing wheels with locking hubs. Rancho front shocks and Skyjacker steering stabilizer. The engine bay has been detailed out nicely and you can proudly pop the hood at any shows or cruise ins. I was told that the Bronco was used for a few hunting trips by the guy who restored it but it never did any serious 4 wheeling since the restoration. The undercarriage and floorpans of this Bronco are very solid. It appears that one or both of the front angled floorpans may have been replaced with the proper Bronco floorpans. While it is not dressed up for show purposes underneath it is still very clean and presentable. This Bronco is great for cruising around town and will handle highway speeds no problem but with the lift kit and larger tires is probably not a truck you are going to want to drive long distances at highway speeds.
