For auction is a 1996 Subaru Outback Wagon with only 130,213 adult driven miles. The engine runs perfectly and the transmission shifts smooth but the car does need a little TLC. It will need exhaust work to pass inspection. The brake rotors have surface rust from sitting but they are in good shape otherwise. They'll clean up with the first few miles of driving. Tires are good for a while yet. The clutch slips a little but only if pushed hard. It works fine for normal driving. Finally, the body has a few spots of rust as can be seen in the photos. Oh, and it could use a bath, big time! With a little work this can be a great car for a new driver. It's always been absolutely reliable, as Subarus always are. It has anti-lock brakes and air bags so it's safer than buying something really old. The battery holds a charge but I'd probably put a new one in as it's about four years old now. Please note - I am not a business. I work typical weekday hours so appointments to see the car will have to be made for evenings or the weekend. I can only watch email occasionally at work so I may not be able to get back to you until the evening.
