This is a nice car that I ran and drove great until tuesday Oct. 9 and then stopped running. The mechanic told me the timing chain broke and most likely there is valve damage, so it needs an engine. This would make a great car to use for parts to repair your car. No parts have been removed. I would like to seel the whole car together as a parts car or as a car that you could put a new engine in and drive. The following parts are just some of what I know is in great shape. All 4 tires - new within the last 10,000 miles, Wheels - pretty scratched up, but original sport wheels that say "AMG" on them Front break pads are new about 30 days ago Hood, Front Fenders, Headlights, Fog Lights Front Frame and Radiator Support Hood and Grill are in great shape Front and Rear Doors (Doors have no dents or rust, and all components of the doors are in great shape but the driver's door window has come unclipped from the regulator) All Leather Seats are in great shape with no rips or tears. All electronics for the seats work well Throttle body, fuel injection, sensors, ignition, and all other engine management and feul systems All interior panels, guages, controls, and switches are are in very good shape Air conditioning system works great and blows cold All the wiring and computer systems are working well, there were no errors, the check engine light was not on All glass (windshield, all door windows, sunroof, and rear glass) is in great shape The side mirrors are good The transmission in these cars very frequently has a valve spring that bends and causes the transmission to not shift correctly. This spring was changed and the transmission was flushed about 2 years ago, and the transmission was working well until the engine quit. The headlights are not broken or cracked, are not yellow, work well, and are very bright Stereo is a tape player that controls a 6 disk changer in the trunk. The stereo is a replacement stock unit from Becker that matches OEM and worked when I last tried it. The CD changer did not work when I last tried it. Original stock Mercedes Car Phone and Car Phone Control Unit are included and turn on and appear to work but I did not test them I will not be able to ship the car or tow it to you. If you win you will need to pick it up from Doylestown, PA or arrange to have it shipped. I have made the best effort I can to provide accurate information, but, the car is sold AS IS. I hope someone will want to put an engine it it or use it to keep their beloved car on the road. Happy bidding!!
