Up for auction is a 1955 Chevy shortbed pickup. Truck was disassembled and blasted. What little rust was welded with new metal and them primed with epoxy. Bodywork was done and then blocked twice with urethane primer and sealed with epoxy . Has a nova sub with power steering and disc brakes, nova rear, tilt wheel, and clutch, brake swing pedals installed. Good back glass, side glass needs replaced, no windshield. Bucket seats are not bolted down and they do need recovered New parts: * New front bed panel, tailgate, and roll pan. * New bed wood, strips, and bolts, wood not bolted in *New rear fender welt. * Pinion seal *New u-bolts and shock mounts *New air shocks * New Ball joints, hubs, and rotors (drilled and slotted) calipers, brake hoses, wheel bearings, upper and lower control arm bushings, sway bar shafts and bushings, and shocks * New clutch trapeze bar *New clutch, pressure plate and throwout bearing *New Hurst competition plus shifter and linkage * New 19 gal. aluminum gas tank with sending unit * New mirror arms, gaskets and screws *New automatic power antenna * New door hinge pins and bushings Comes with a 350 engine - don’t know much about it - was told it was a good engine. I put engine on a startup stand and it started right off. Sounds strong: no smoke or engine noise and had 50 lbs. oil pressure. Has a GM aluminum high rise intake manifold. Needs starter and plug wires Saginaw 4-speed. gears and everything looked good on the inside. Door handles, window cranks, gauge cluster, etc. are not show quality, but ok for the street. Most of the hard work is done, but still a lot of work to do. Would be a fun truck to finish and choose your own colors. Clear Missouri title.
