Vehicle Detail

1977 Honda CR 125 Two points I'd like to make before describing this bike to you. 1. If it's a 77 CR 125 you have been looking to restore, there isn't a better place to begin considering the bike shows no signs of being a racer, no nicks in the lower fork legs, no weeping foot pegs, no signs of a number ever being on it. 2. For a budget minded racer, this is a great running, entry level post vintage 125 that you can make race ready for a reasonable fee and a little bit of wrenching. Engine: The engine starts easily and runs great. The compression is good, I see no signs of leaks anywhere. The rubber intake and air boot are in nice condition, nothing dry or cracked.I just installed an aftermarket pipe, its brand new.The kick starter properly stays closed when you ride the bike.I see no signs of gouges in the cases, no broken or bent cylinder or head fins. The ignition cover has been broken away in front of the sprocket, no other damage is visible. The mileage number is arbitrary at 250 due to it being an off road bike. Frame and suspension: The frame is solid on the bike, no weeping foot pegs, nothing damaged or welded. The swingarm bearings/bushings feel great, no side to side play in the arm at all.Wheel bearings are good, brakes work well, air box is in place with the correct cage in it.The forks are straight, I see no signs of leaking from them under the boots. The forks boots are original items, the correct factory boot retainer rings are under them. The lower fork legs have no nicks in them. The shocks look nice, no rust on the shafts, decent damping, a bit soft on compression. The seat base is solid, no rust on it, firm foam, the cover has a small tare along one side seam.Close to 100% of the original Honda nuts and bolts are on this bike. Tank Fenders and Side panels: The tank is clean on the inside, the petcock works properly, no leaks, no drips. There is a dent on the left side of the tank, the right side has a shallow impression.Side panels are original and in great condition, they never had numbers applied to them.Original front number plate, in nice condition with minimal edge wear from the brake cable. The front number plate mount as well as the cable guide are in place.Fenders are a bit faded but not broken with some scratches on the front fender. Tires, Controls: Both rims are straight, no flat spots, no cracks, all the spokes are there. There are some nicks along the edges of the rear rim from a tire change. No issues with the hubs or brake plates. The rear tire needs to be replaced, the front is in fairly nice shape. The throttle and clutch work perfectly, the cables are fine.Although they work OK, I would replace the front and rear brake cable before any serious riding. Shipping: Ill gladly assist the shipper of your choice any way I can. Please email me with any questions.I can also help ship this bike to most major sea ports in the world, email me to discuss this further. Title:I have a clean title in hand from the state of California. The bike is sold as is. Local prospective buyers are welcome to view the bike daily from 9 AM to 6 PM. Photos of the other bike in this listing:The bike is here for comparison purposes only, it is available here on Ebay if your interested, it is not included in this listing.
