I took this truck in trade on my Z06 in August but have two other trucks so time to go to a new owner! Information below was provided by previous owner of 27 years starting in Arizona then California. Has been in dry shop in Oregon last few years, As a running, driving, nearly done project this truck is in fantastic condition however it is still a work progress. All of the hard work mechanically has been done. The engine is believed to be a 5.0 liter that was rebuilt about 3000 miles ago and it runs very strong. It was bored 30 over at that time and has an RV cam. The transmission is a c4 that was rebuilt in 1999 by a transmission shop in Bakersfield and has a shift kit and again not many miles on it since it was rebuilt. The truck has a brand new interior, all new rubber, all new glass, new shocks, new fuel tank, new interior knobs and switches, new front bumper and a rear roll pan is included if you want that look! The truck was painted however it needs to be repainted. Proper block sanding and prep was not done. Truck comes with a gallon of paint and clear coat to go with it that matches existing finish. Power steering has been added to the truck and works excellent. The brake systems have been completely gone through however it does not have power brakes. It stops straight with out a lot of effort. All the pans are in excellent shape as is the entire underside of the body. There is no rot or cancer on this truck. There has been 1/4 steel welded into the area that the step bolts onto in the rear fenders because those areas always rust out on these step sides and have never had an issue since. The doors open and close like the day they were new!! Everything in the truck works awesome including the heater. There is no stereo system in the truck at this time. If you are looking to build a very cool rod this truck with the right attention this ride will be awesome.
