It was sold with a totally broken windshield and drivers glass. I had it immediately towed to a glass shop and the plan was to get it fixed quickly so I can use it . However all ducks weren't in line as planned . This is the 1st time I've taken a run on such cars. The glass is not casually available and had to be ordered. By the time , the glass replacement took place, my situation changed and I could not afford to give it more time, ( since I got a job far off and am not able to give it a 1 month or so fixing time ) . The glass keeper agreed to keep the car for me till the sale is over. I do not have extra place around my house to keep this car as my parking lot's just enough for my running car. I also got a brand new battery for it . The battery itself cost me $250 So right now the car is at the Auto glass shop. Far as what else is wrong with it goes....I am not sure . I Just got this car like 10 days ago and my situation changed. I had an Prius mechanic take a look at it and he estimated parts and labor around $1000-$2000 to get this car totally up to speed on the higher side. He told me that the fact that the body is in good shape and the car is running are good points . Some electrical work and sprucing up is needing in the trunk. Sold as is, where is .I have a cousin who is into shipping and so I can give a good discount. Just $700 to ship the car anywhere - in 48 continental us states. To avail this rate - I have to engage the shipper - and it would be economy shipping - whatever is available open or closed at the economy rate . This is not some scam or joke. I really meant to fix the car but have to leave town now and want to get rid if it due to a change in my situation. My loss- your gain. If you know your way around hybrids or find someone you can easily fix it and sell it back for full market value of $22k . Remember its only 13,162 miles I have to travel out of town - else I'd be doing it myself , when I was without work. Somehow in the auction the Selling from State erroneously falls for the 1st state in the drop down list and the 1st city in that state viz. Anchorage , Alaska. Its actually in San Jose , CA. I have to send the title for reassignment to a new buyer , which might take time.
