I bought this truck from the family who originally bought it The gentleman who bought the truck in 56 owened a chevron service station. He never worked the truck.......just drove the truck from his house to work less than a couple miles. The gentleman passed on in 1979. His daughter eventually sold the truck to me. I knew Mr. Pernell because he owned the service station across from my restaurant....for years I tried to buy the truck. Now, abought the truck.....the fiber glass is in excellent shape with one slight break about an inch right under the fender well.....thats all wrong the the glass on the truck. Iam offering the truck a second time because of an upaid item I had to file through ebay. Dead beat ebayer hit the buyer it now and never paid deposit.....ebayer also was an able to collect. Since the I have done more work to the truck I repaired a small cancer spot on bottom of door . ..see picture. I had front seat upholestered using orginal material at a cost of 225.00 a yard an a half .....total cost 550.00.....but its beautiful....other things done: starter rebuilt ,rear gas shocks, new old stock door handles and risers, igntion switch replaced,hei igntion, old style 21/2 corvette headers new battery, new mellon oil pump, clean oil pan and valve covers and paint, new aluminum hi flow water pump, timing chain , fan belt, new 3 core aluminum radiator, amber parking lights I bought ft. disc. brake kit ,not installed , also have 55 pass. chevy rear end. It has professional exhast system with new flow master......the truck runs great ,started right up after 30 years sitting. The rubber on the brake petal and accelator looks almost new The front and rear windshields in excellent shape with no road blast Also, I kept all orginal parts, rad. headers, distributot. ..the truck does not smoke. Last time dead beat hit buy it now for 11,500 but have done much more work to truck. .. good luck in auction and if you have any questions call at 915 5452709
