Vehicle Detail
First of all I do not accept pay pal. 1985 Dodge W350, 360 cubic inch engine, automatic transmission and four wheel drive.I bought this truck a couple of months ago because I always wanted one, but now I realize there's not enough room for my wife and two daughters. I runs out real good, the 4 wheel drive works great and I haven't noticed any leaks of any kind. I bought it from the U.S. Forestry Service auction in Missouri it had 29,777 actual miles on it and I have put about a thousand miles on it. I did repaint it, but I did no body work at all and it has absolutely no rust. The body on this truck is solid and the day it came off the assembly line. There are a few minor dents and dings but I did not want any filler in it, so I left it completely alone, sanded it down primed and painted. The original color was forestry green and if you search all of the cracks and crevices you can still see a few traces of green. I pulled the bed off and painted the entire cab and bed silver. I had it Rhino lined and put in a new rubber floor mat in the cab. I bought the wheels and tires off a friend, the wheels are american racing 16x7" and the tires are Toyo Open country 265's with about 50% of the tread left. This truck has a very low gear ratio. I'm not sure what it is but I'm guessing 411. It would be great for pulling a large boat or horse trailer. The only problem I have noticed is the A/C doesn't work and I haven't investigated to find out the cause and the heater controls remain on vent. I read on one of the dodge forums that the controls are vacuum operated and there is an actuator that sticks, but I haven't tried to fix it at all. I know the heater works because I have needed it for the last couple of mornings. Those are the only problems I have noticed, other than that this is a great low mileage truck. I painted this truck myself I'm not a professional auto painter, I paint heavy equipment for a living but I looks pretty good for an average guy . I used the original dodge dark silver paint code for this truck. I tinted the windows. the back and wing glasses look good but the side glass have a few small bubbles. There are a couple of holes in the drivers side fender where some sort of mount was added, I don't know what it was but I didn't try to cover it up either. I have tried to remember everything done to it but I'm sure I have forgotten something. If you have any question feel free to ask. Payment is to be made with in 5 days from the end of this auction buy bank wire, cash, cashiers check, company check or personal check. If you are paying with a check of any kind it must clear my bank before the truck can be picked up. I can store it for you as long as needed for transportation to be arranged. If you need it hauled try out uship they have the best rates out there, I used it when I bought this truck and it ended up being about ninety cents a mile. If you have any questions at all call me at (270) 250-1750 I reserve the right to end this auction early because it is for sale locally.
