The Florence Freedom, an indpendent minor league baseball team, we purchased this step van for $17,500 in 2008. It remains in our ballpark most of the year with very few miles added to its 65,000 when we bought it. We transformed what was a utilitarian ice cream truck into a sponsored promotional vehicle with a nice wrap and a upgraded sound system. For the past 5 years, it has been used to vend ice cream during games and to promote our team during parades and mascot visits during events around town. Frankly, it largely sits most of the year. Unfortunately, the sponsorship ended after 5 years and we have no more need for it. It is completely functional as is its cold plate freezer. None of the front office staff knows much about the vehicle's history but it has been fully insured, registered and maintained trhough the years.
