1962 VW Convertible restoration project. I purchased this vehicle several years ago for a restoration project, but a seemingly endless supply of honey-do projects and childrens needs, I am forced to consider letting this project go to someone who will show her the love she so desparately needs. New tires and brakes, the front end was gone through. She tracks, steers, and brakes correctly. Had an engine in her, and drove around the block several times. Her spine(reenforcement rails) are soft, and the pans and luggage area have seen their share of rust through in spots. She is a lovely candidate for a pan off resto for those who understand the complexity of this operation. Clear Nebraska tiltle for this car. I do have the top, although the material is not restorable, the back window is intact with its frame. I have the rear seats, but took them out to show the luggage and battery areas that need attention. Car is a roller and I will include a tow bar for those who are trailer-less(2" ball) Car does not come with an engine. Thanks all for looking, Michael.
