2003 SILVERADO SS - ARRIVAL BLUE – 147K MILES ***** NO RESERVE AUCTION ***** DESCRIPTION OF THE TRUCK: Up for this NO RESERVE auction is an AWD Arrival Blue 2003 Chevrolet Silverado SS . For Sale: 2003 Silverado SS, 6.0 Liter, 345 HP, Automatic, All Wheel Drive. Extended Cab, Rare Color – Arrival Blue. They only made just over 1100 Arrival Blue SS Silverado’s in 2003. This color was only available in 2003 and 2004. The SS comes loaded with just about every option possible. PS, PB, PW, PDL, Automatic Dual Zone Climate Control (AC), On-Star, XM Radio, Rear Window Defroster, Electric Mirrors, Power Seats, Heated Seats, Bose 6 Disc Stereo, Factory 20” Wheels, Heavy Duty brakes and towing package. The truck has not been modified and is accident free. Factory stock. I purchased the truck when it had 65,000 miles on it. The truck has 146K miles and has had a new fuel pump, water pump, new plugs, new plug wires, aligned within the last 2 years and most recent all 4 rotors turned and new pads. I used Mobil 1 in it and it does not use any oil. The 275/55-20 tires only have about 10,000 miles on them and it runs great down the road. I would not be afraid to take it on any trip across the country. The All Wheel Drive system is fantastic in the winter time. The 6.0 Liter All Wheel Drive system is a proven winner and will last many more miles. The truck does have a couple of things that as a potential buyer you should be aware of. The check engine light comes on occasionally with a code of P0442 (Evaporative Emission Control System Leak Detected –small leak). I replaced the gas cap many years ago but it still comes on occasionally. I just clear the code. It does not seem to affect the running of the truck. The truck has a scratch on the tailgate and a very small dent in the passenger door. Bubble rust is starting to appear over both the rear wheels on the horizontal portion of the wheel well lip area.
