Typically our Mechanic Specials don't run, but this one actually runs and drives. Since we don't have a "Needs TLC" category, we just threw it in this one. With some tweaking, this Kia could be a great 2nd vehicle, commuter, or for a 1st time driver! We schedule all vehicle showings by appointment, feel free to call, text or email or visit our website at www.carnetcars.comWhile it Runs, Drives, and Passed the VA State Safety Inspection, it could use some TLC. I have driven this car back and forth a few times around town with no issues mechanically. With the roof racks, tinted windows, CD player, and covered spare, this Kia is sporty looking while having the room to take what you want!Exterior:The Exterior of this Kia is a nice slate blue. It looks really good, sporty yet not to flashy. Upon first glance, you will notice that this Sportage has a few exterior cosmetic issues. There is a dent on the passenger side and back hatch, plenty of scratches and dings on the hood, and an area on the driver door where the paint has come off. However, this little princess passed the rigorous VA state safety inspection. You have roof racks, tinted windows and Alloys wheels on good tires. Again, while there are cosmetic flaws here, they are just that...cosmetic. The tires passed the VA State safety inspection. Interior:The grey cloth interior of this Kia is very comfortable. On the driver door you will find the power window switches. The interior is in similar condition to the exterior. You get power windows (however the rear passenger doesn't work), aftermarket pioneer tuner with cd player (I can only get one speaker to work), power steering and some added height. There are some flaws in the carpets and some staining on the seating surfaces. I also notice that the AC does not blow cold, it most likely just needs a charge. The rear bench seat can fold down in 2 pieces to create customizable and larger cargo space. Overall the interior condition is average considering the price, age, and mileage. Under the Hood:The only thing I can say is wrong mechanically is that the e-brake light comes on even though it is not engaged. Otherwise this 2002 Kia runs as I expect a 2002 vehicle with these miles to run!Please look at all the pictures just in case we missed something. Also you are welcome to have your mechanic take a look, we just need you to schedule it with us. This vehicle may or may not make it home on a long distance drive. While we do not see any reason why it wouldn't, it does have high miles. At our dealership we work really hard to accurately describe our vehicles through text descriptions and elaborate photos.
