First Navigator is a 1999 fully loaded and runs great. Has 130,000 miles. This has the intec engine and is super quick for an 5,500 lb suv. There are some issues with rust NOT MAJOR (brake lines-rear lower control arms-some rust repair on rockers).This was my primary vehicle up until April of this year. (bought a jeep) On a scale of 1-10 one being bad 10 being perfect the running gear (engine-transmission-transfer case-front and read diffs on the 99 is a solid 8. The body no rust on doors-fenders-quarters-tailgate) rockers have been repaired but not professionally-will need brakes. On the scale it is a 7 Interior is beautiful scale 9 has third row seat-6 disc cd player power everything.The second navigator is a 2001 navigator (folks this is the sleeper) that has the intec engine but the engine is not good Scale 1. The rest of the running gear is a solid 9. Body is a solid 9.9 NO RUST ANYWHERE NO DENTS NEVER BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT and the under-carriage is a solid 9.9 The under carriage is mint. The interior is beautiful solid 9. No third seat. Someone tried to fix the cruise control on the wheel so one button is missing. This navigator came from Arizona then to Tennessee. The people were preachers and never traveled on salt covered roads and never traveled farther north than the deep south. Nothing has been left out and i am being upfront on everything. Folks if you are mechanically incline-a garage-used car dealer-and want to make money or own a great vehicle this is it. If you took the engine out of the 99 and put it into the 2001 you would have a BEAUTIFUL SUV. Again the 2001 is (rust free body and frame) the frame still has the blue paint on underside. Brake lines-fuel lines are perfect. NO RUST ANYWHERE. Price what a transmission-transfer case-differentials are worth.
