Up for sale is my 2000 toyota 4runner. owned since 2004 with 75k miles. was my wifes daily driver til last year and now is my weekend toy. runs strong and is in great shape. doesnt burn or leak oil. i put a lot of time and money into it since last year. has new shocks and springs on all 4 corners. new upper and lower ball joints up front. new swaybar bushings. new rear lower control arm. new flowmaster muffler with midpipe. new k&n cartridge filter. new toytech 2" suspension lift and 2" body lift. new front bumper. i custom fabbed a new rear diff cover because the original one rotted so it leaked. i also custom fabbed a 2 piece skid plate for the front & bumper for the rear. i made a set of 4 safari doors for it out of 1" and 2" box tubing. very easy to change out. mounts to factory hinges and has factory latches for a solid shutting door. the only major things that are wrong with it is the ABS doesnt work. the cv boots up front just ripped. the parking brake is poor (one side is frozen so i disconnected it). and the check engine light is on. i have a scanner and the code reads catalyst efficiency below threshold. its happened before and when i replace the 02 sensor it fixed it. just spent $160 on new front denso 02 sensor and the light is still on. im pretty sure its the rear. just dont want to spend any more money on it. i replaced the brake pads/shoes probably 2 years ago so there is plenty of life left in those. the tires dont have alot of tread left. they are fine in dry and rainy conditions but not very good in the snow. the only rot on the truck is above the rear wheel wells both sides as shown in pics. the rest of the truck is very solid. havent really used the truck a whole lot since i started fixing things last year. all new parts probably have less that 2k miles on them. i change all the oil this spring and i think there is only about 500 miles on the new oil. very well cared for. always garaged. have only taken off road a few times on short light duty trails. has never seen mud or water. lost interest and funding. my loss, your gain. local pickup. cash accepted. for sale locally also. thanx for looking
