I am selling a 1968 Karmann Ghia ratrod so that my wife can take our youngest child to meet his grandpa as he was diagnosed with inoperable cancer,and I want him to see his grandson before he dies Think of this as helping a person with a final farewell to his family..The car has been totally gone through,there is not one speck of rust on it,The haedliner and door panels are original and in good shape the seat covers are all new,with two inch foam padding for a more comfy ride.The motor has been switched out with a dual port 1600 originally had the 1400.The oil system has been upgraded to include an additional oil cooler and external oil filter,The charging system was just replaced new generator and wiring at 101 imports in Lincoln City. The front end is on a drop front beam giving it a real agrressive stance.It has been upgraded to front disc brakes.The rear axle is original.Has nice custom rims and tires . The car drives great runs really strong, and shifts perfectly, and has a scat shifter,a lot of fun to drive.Everywhere I go people ask or comment about the car.Spent around 90 hours just on the sanding and smoothing the body out,it is ready for paint if you wish,but I would leave it with this awesome ratrod look,it really is cool.
