Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is a 1984 Jeep CJ7 from sunny dryArizona. It is equipped with the ever sturdy Jeep 258ci Inline 6 cylinder motor matted to a RARE factory three speed Automatic Transmission. The odometer is currently showing 125,924 miles. I am the 4th owner of this Arizona rust free Jeep. I purchased it from a semi-retired gentleman living in Wickenburg, Arizona hoping to restore it back to it's original glory. Unfortunately, I ambeing transferred for work and will no longer have a place to store the Jeep and be able to work on it. The previous owner informed methat the trusty ole Jeep had spent the last 14 years on a Wickenburgranch, and was only driven a couplethousand miles in the past several years. The gentleman even added a larger capacity fuel tank since he would take his family on long trail rides in beautiful western Arizona. It is has the original high back front buckets seats, along with thefactory rear seat. The exterior color ofthe Jeep is silver, and the interior seat color is garnet red. The Jeep has had only one previousinexpensive re-paint nearly a decade ago as reported by the previousowner. His intention was just to cover up thin areas of the paint because he was worried about surface rust. The Jeep has not had ANYcarpeting on the floors since I have owned it, nor with the previous owner. It also has most if not all of the floordrain plugs removed as well. This isprobably one of the BEST things the previous owner could have done in order topreserve, and maintain the floors in the condition there are in today. The driver side floor shows light surface rust. The excellent condition of the floors can be seen in the detailed picturesincluded. The Jeep does not have a top,and has not had a top on it for years as reported by the previous owner. The seats and sun visors could use to be re-upholstered atsome point in time. They are a bit dry from being exposed to the elements of the Arizona sun. However, the seats areall still very functional and very comfortable for almost being 30 year old. The Jeep does have soft half doors as displayed in the pictures. However, they are also very dry with tears in the material as can be viewed in the pictures. The Jeep still retains the original factory roll bar, original factoryspare tire carrier, along with five original matching factory Jeep CJ white spokewheels.Since the Jeep had not got much use in the pastcouple of years, I decided to go through and replace all of the vitalfluids. In addition, I also replacedseveral seals and gaskets since the Jeep was showing signs of fluidleakage. More specifically, I had thetransmission removed and a seal kit installed. I also replaced the oil pan gasket, and valve cover gasket at the same time the oil and filter was changed. I take the Jeep out weekly to make sure everything stays well lubricated. All sales are final. The Jeep is being sold AS-IS where is with no warranties expressed, implied, or stated. This is standard for ALL private party sales.
