This listing is for a great looking 1955 Ford Fairlane Crown Victoria. Striking color pattern of two tone Black and Yellow. Hard to miss this 50's style color pattern when it is cruising the streets ! One owner last 16 years. Interior was custom made to match the exterior colors. 272 V8 2 barrel engine , believed to be original, with the Fordomatic 2 speed transmission. Starts easily and runs well... has good power and easily gets up to highway speeds. Stops good and transmission shifts properly. Drives good on the road even at 60-65 mph. A lot of fun to cruise in and gets attention everywhere ! Has a good exhaust system with lake pipes that are functional , not just for looks. Originally an all black exterior car from the factory The floors and frame are in very good condition and are NOT covered in heavy undercoating to hide problems. I have a lot of underbody pics to show just how solid the floors are. There is a riveted patch in the lh front floor area. The trunk is as solid as can be , as there is no rust and it is very clean on the trunk floor ( see pics) The body has bubbles on the lh front door corner, rocker panel and both lower fenders. This body restoration is over 20 years old and is aging but still looks good from 10 feet. There are small dents on the top body panels which mother nature provided some hail to drive through while out cruising. Paint is fair and probably rated at a 5 on a scale of 1-10. The bumpers are good and there are some dings in some of the bright trim from the hail. The interior is very presentable and the color pattern is a match to the exterior. Good headliner , seats and carpet. Has been changed to 12 Volt for better starting and operation. We are going to sell this car with a low reserve and a reasonable offer just might get us to end this listing early and sell this fine driving, fun 55 Crown Victoria. Interior was custom made to match the exterior colors.
272 V8 2 barrel engine , believed to be original, with the Fordomatic 2 speed transmission.
Starts easily and runs well... has good power and easily gets up to highway speeds. Stops good and transmission shifts properly.
Drives good on the road even at 60-65 mph.
A lot of fun to cruise in and gets attention everywhere !
Has a good exhaust system with lake pipes that are functional , not just for looks.
Originally an all black exterior car from the factory
The floors and frame are in very good condition and are NOT covered in heavy undercoating to hide problems.
I have a lot of underbody pics to show just how solid the floors are. There is a riveted patch in the lh front floor area.
The trunk is as solid as can be , as there is no rust and it is very clean on the trunk floor ( see pics)
The body has bubbles on the lh front door corner, rocker panel and both lower fenders. This body restoration is over 20 years old and is aging but still looks good from 10 feet.
There are small dents on the top body panels which mother nature provided some hail to drive through while
out cruising.
Paint is fair and probably rated at a 5 on a scale of 1-10.
The bumpers are good and there are some dings in some of the bright trim from the hail.
The interior is very presentable and the color pattern is
a match to the exterior. Good headliner , seats and carpet.
Has been changed to 12 Volt for better starting and operation.
We are going to sell this car with a low reserve and a reasonable offer just might get us to end this listing early and sell this fine driving, fun 55 Crown Victoria.
In summary this is a good driving, good looking 55 Crown that will provide a lot of fun and driving pleasure, as well as pride of ownership for the new owner as it does get the attention .
