Being offered for the first time this 1953 Oldsmobile Rocket 88. All original 4-door. This car has original 303 rocket engine 4-barrel carb. and hydromatic transmission. This is a three owner car. What we have here is a very nice looking and good running car. This car has been taken very well taken care of over the years. One repaint about twenty five years ago. The motor runs very smooth and does not smoke. Transmission shifts very good. Power brakes work very well. Does not have power steering. Lights, turn signals and horn all work fine. Things that don't work are clock and radio. Both do light up though. Dash lights and interior lights all work. Has new headliner, seat covers, door panels, carpet, door seals. Front and rear bumpers have been rechromed. Stainless is in excellent condition. Also has five new wide white wall tires. Plus an extra bias ply tire. This car for being 59 years old will cruise down the highway at 55 all day. The paint on this car is very nice but not perfect. But it's very presentable as you can see in the pictures. The body on the car is very straight and solid. Underneath the car appears to be very solid. Trunk and Floors areas are solid. All glass on the car is in very good condition with no cracks or chips.
