RARE!! 1971 Lemans sport convertible with GTO options.. 400 motor , Auto trans, Power steering, Power disc Brakes, power top, Rally gauges, factory bucket seats and console with dual gate his and hers shifter, wood sport steering wheel, 323 posi rear differential., Judge rear spoiler, GTO Rear lower valance with exhaust cutouts..Dual snorkel air cleaner. I bought the car a while back with big plans to restore it and now need to sell...The car is originally blue and overall very solid and straight with just a little rust behind both rear tires right on the bottom corner , The floors are very solid with just a few pin holes on the drivers front , The trunk pan has had a couple patches but overall pretty solid. The motor is a 400 YT code NOT the original motor. The motor was overhauled before i got it .It has a edelbrock performer intake and carb, also a gear drive timing set. I drove the car all summer but now it's starting to pop through the carb, so im thinking it might be getting a flat cam. So it might need that replaced. Trans works good, front suspension was replaced last year along with new front disc brakes and new rear brakes.The power top works good, The car comes with new Black top, new top pads, new well, and new front and rear door panels..Seats and carpet was redone last year before i bought it.It has 14x7 factory rally wheels with BF Goodrich T/A Radials.I did some research on the car and from what i came up with was there was only a little over 4000 total convertibles made in 1971 making this a pretty rare care when you think about how many are left...Please look at all pics before bidding.
